My name is Amanda Salt and I am a Fully Insured Crewe-based trainer and lecturer specialising in First Aid, Safeguarding and First Aid For Mental Health.
I qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in 1991 and worked in many departments eventually finding myself teaching nurses and newly qualified doctors in the School Of Medicine. In 2010 I set up as a Childminder where I was awarded an OUTSTANDING grade by OFSTED. During this time I gained my Ba (Hons) in Childhood and Youth Studies.
I have also completed and passed the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health and am now an IQA for Nuco Training. In late 2018 I started teaching OFQUAL REGULATED First Aid and since added Safeguarding and First Aid For Mental Health to my portfolio. These courses have found me teaching a wide range of clientele. These range from HGV Drivers requiring CPC to multinational construction companies and childminders.
